Rupert E. Grimm (Rudi), Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer,

Rudi Grimm formed Grimm Capital Management LLC after a long and extensive career with Berkeley Capital Management LLC, where he was a leading principal in a firm which managed over $1 billion in investment assets. At Berkeley, he led the firm's management of large cap growth accounts, and he was Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee.

Rudi began his investment career as a securities analyst with Goldman Sachs & Co and joined Berkeley's predecessor firm, BA Investment Management, in 1975. In those early years, he was often recognized in surveys by Institutional Investors Magazine and Greenwich Associates as a leading buy-side analyst.

He began managing accounts in 1984 and was the firm's leading manager of institutional accounts when the firm joined Berkeley International in 1992. In 2003 the firm was sold to Putnam Lovell. Rudi's accounts were always managed in a large cap growth style, and their performance was at times over a ten year period ranked in the top 10% of managers in a similiar style by Callan Associates.

Prior to his career in investment management, Rudi served in the Army in various command and staff assignments. He was a Battery Commander of an atomic missile unit in Europe, and had ranger and airborne training.

Rudi received his BS from the US Military Academy at West Point and his MBA from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. His outside activities include serving on the Budget and Finance Committee of the Northerrn California Arthritis Foundation.
